Assessment
Typically, we use an organizational capacity assessment tool to understand the organization's needs, and to ensure that the position under consideration is properly structured, given the strengths and weaknesses of the organization. Because we focus only on the social sector, we are particularly skilled at facilitating processes of search committees with various stakeholders.
Strategy
With the assessment as a framework, we create a position description and a search strategy, highlighting specific ways to reach targeted pools of talent.
Sourcing
Our distinct value comes from being able to identify and reach extraordinary candidates through unusual networks. We take great pride in finding that perfect fit -- cultural as well as in terms of skills -- rather than tapping into often closed systems.
Research
Through 360View, we seek other data points on candidates -- on boards and committees, for example -- so that we're able to convey to the client how they operate in different situations. This is in addition to customary checking with previous employers
Interviews
At this point, we facilitate in-person meetings between the candidates and the client. For the level of placements we work on, we want to ensure that each party is as well-informed about each other as possible, and that expectations for the meeting are clearly set.
Offer
Once the client has ranked the candidates, we use a matrix to structure a comprehensive offer. Salary is an important component, but we also know there are a number of other incentives the client can offer (including professional development opportunities).
Coaching
Once the candidate becomes the incumbent, we work with not only the candidate but the hiring manager or board to ensure a positive on-boarding experience.
Evaluation
After the process of search, hiring and on-boarding is complete, we conduct a feedback session with the client and all of the candidates, so that The 360 Group can get its own full-stakeholder review.
